Last night, I went to go see Murder By Death. Let me tell you something, it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They were playing silent movies in the background. Zombies, ghouls, vampires, etc. It was awesome. After the show I bought their LP and since everyone from the band was there I went up to them and got them to sign it. They were pretty cool. I talked to Matt (bassist) about the theremin and how I wanted one and he told me that it was "the most aggrivating instrument in the world". haha! He's only had it for 6 months. So, according to him he just makes noise that sounds good. Not quite yet "music". Then talked to Dagan (percussion) about markers and how whenever he got one it would be lost within a few hours cause someone would steal it. With Sarah (cello, keys) and Adam (vocals, guitars), talked about when they were going to California and yeah they said maybe sometime next year since they might start touring all over sometime next spring. I love how Sarah was sooooo into playing her cello during the show. Not only her, though. Pretty much everyone was into their instruments. It was AMAZING!!!! Miggy is going to New York to take pictures of them tonight. Wish I could go, but we've got meeting in Philly. oh well.
