Summershine Pop Festival 2009

Went to Summershine Pop Fest yesterday with Frank and Lenin.
I had a lot of fun. Everyone did a super job. Got to watch Forrest Gump while we were there too. I was surprised to hear Frank, who works at a video store, had never seen it. He didnt really get to hear it so Lenin and I kind of just told him what was going on.... you know about him being a serial killer and all and how he lures people in with his stories and chocolate.

Anyway I think It was worth the hour and a half drive. Got to talk to Nick and show him the sweatshirt I made. Its blue and it has my cats pawa prints all over it.....hence it being it my Catwalk sweatshirt. He wanted to wear it while they played but it was too small. He liked the idea though and said they might use it! How cool would that be??????? Too cool!

Made a new friend who wants to start a new genre of music....something having to do with hunting i dont remember. It was rather funny though.

Brian from The Tartans played bass for St Christopher. He learned 16 song in five days and they only had ONE 7 hour practice before the show. He did a good job though. The Tartans and St Christopher play again tonight at Part Time Punks.... here is the flyer.

Back to Summershine.... Devon Williams, The Parson Redheads, the Bridgess, and Sea Lions were great..... I think i said that already though....eh im bad at this.,....obviously

oh i had to go sit behind the crowd for st christopher cause the drummer was distracting me with the faces he was making while drumming....no offense drummer. Also I wish the whole set would have been like the last couple songs cause those were the most fun.
