First off, I did as I said I would yesterday and I made the Totoro cream puffs
This one looks more like an owl though :/ its still cute i think....i had to make them with what i had since i didn't really feel like going to the store to find the stuff i was missing. Next time theyll look more Totoro like.
After picking up Matty from school we went to Origami Vinyl in Echo Park to buy some records....The shop sells Vinyl records, record players, cartridges, and concert tickets for The Echo, Echoplex, Spaceland, and other Spaceland Productions Festivals/Events. They primarily focus on Independent music with scattered classics from multiple genres throughout the store. All the records in the shop are new since the space is small they cant really take up space with the used, rare, collectible market.
Unfortunately we were only able to stay for about 15 minutes :/ reason being the dang parking meter only gave me 15 minutes for 85 cents!!!!!!!!!! anyway, the store was pretty cool. Its small but thats ok i like stores like that. :)
I wish i could work there.... Id be down to work for trade or even just volunteer. As long as i was in there Id be happy. I mean....seriously, how awesome would it be to not only work at a comic book store but to also work at a record store!!!!???!?!?!? DREAM COME TRUE! I know im not the most music savy or whatever but I absolutely love to be around people who LOVE music and can just talk about it forever and just share their knowledge about it.....maybe i can go hang out on my days off from the comic book store and make friends with the nice folks there.
Like i said earlier i was only there for about 15minutes and in those 15minutes i managed to get
(it came with free digital download but i already have most of B&S so if someone wants it let me know and i'll give you the code and stuff)

I wish I could have stayed longer. On the other hand its a good thing I was only there for so little time or else i would have spent all my money and then i wouldnt be able to go back tomorrow for Record Store Day. Hopefully they still have what I want by the time i get there after work.
Alright, Im going to go try make tortillas with my mom now.

Tatiana

Kinda does look like an owl. (Which is cool too.) But I can still see the Totoro-isms in him.
