The Existential Saviors begin their journey in a state of complacency. For the most part, life has turned out the way they expected. They didn't necessarily set the world on fire, but then again, that may not have been their intention. As far as they know, they've been content. As it turns out, they haven't really been content at all. Suddenly, something happens out of the blue and the normalcy of their world is shattered, their safety threatened. Worse yet, everything is topsy-turvy and nothing makes sense.
Intense philosophers by nature, their minds are now tormented by questions: Where did that jet engine fall from? Who the hell am I? What am I doing in a mental institution?! Thankfully, these heroes are incredibly intuitive, resourceful and sharp as a blade while guided by an unstoppable will to take control of their own lives. As they stumble forward into a brave new world, they find others along the way who need saving from it. They've clearly been chosen for the job of savior, but to fulfill their role, they must look inside of themselves and discover who they really are. This sort of soul searching can be terrifying as they must face their fears while caring for others. Their journey of discovery will end if they dwell on the uncertainties they harbor about themselves and the truth they are seeking.
To save the world around them, these heroes must realize that they have the power to make the world what they want it to be; they control their own destiny. In so doing, they will find a newfound appreciation for themselves and for the meaning of life. They have battled their fears and it's made them stronger. Some of them will simply realize that they are only at the beginning of their journey into the soul. Or, as the Existential Saviors might say, "time travel is possible… if you operate in God's channel."
